The owner of this studio cottage had thought of everything even a wonderful "Queen" yes "Queen" size bed - wonderful!! We love Cumbria and the Lakes although we cannot do the trekking we used to but the weather was kind to us and we enjoyed what we did.

An excellent quiet base to explore the beautiful Lake District, Cumbria and Northumbria without the hoards of tourists to be found in Keswick etc. The owners of Dufton Hall Cottage are very friendly and the local pub serves wonderful food. Lots of walks to be found starting from Dufton village. Highly recommended for a couple who don't mind a studio type apartment.

The warm friendly greeting from the owners, so helpful and their dog is so friendly (she took me for a number of long walks into the hills!) I would highly recommend this cottage to all my family and friends.
